The well-being of our staff and customers is our priority, and you can be assured that health and safety has our full attention.

We are continuing to follow and monitor official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England carefully. It is of vital importance for us to be in a position to ensure that any and all procedures are in place to support the health and well-being of our customers and staff.

All employees have been briefed on adhering to health and safety, government and international guidance regarding combatting COVID-19.

Any member of staff returning from the affected areas abroad – or those who are living with family members or housemates recently returned from these regions – have automatically been asked to self-quarantine for fourteen days. This has been the case across the company for some weeks with some staff having already been working remotely.

Our employees are all able to work from home and assist customers remotely without compromising the high standard of work and customer service. This means that the helpline will remain open as normal (7 days a week) and should not be affected by quarantine measures or even a complete lockdown.

Rest assured with the technology and systems we already have in place we are able to operate as normal and offer the same level of service and support to customers, remotely if necessary.

We will continue to follow developments on COVID-19 updates and NHS, W.H.O and government guidelines.

If you have any further questions, please contact sales@easitill.co.uk.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and loyalty.

We look forward to speaking to you soon,

The Easitill Team

6 Things to think about in order to work remotely…

  1. Telephone System – Can you easily direct your phone to a home phone?
  2. Remote Working Audit – Do you have suitable technology set up at home to work remotely. Can you dial into systems and work remotely? Have you tested this?
  3. Software –  Is relevant software installed on your home computers? This may require extra software licenses.
  4. Printing – Are you set up to print locally or remotely?
  5. Equipment – If a large scale event happens, it’s likely that equipment will become scarce or expensive. Don’t leave it to the last minute to purchase items such as laptops. We are already seeing suppliers with links to China being affected.
  6. Be prepared – If a large scale lockdown occurs like in Italy it may be too late to react as quarantine measures will make access difficult. Make sure you are prepared today, in case the worst happens tomorrow.
